John Mury has extensive experience in the energy and naval sectors, currently serving as Lead Plant Operator at Cogentrix Energy, LLC since June 2016, overseeing a dual fuel combined cycle and six GE 7FA gas turbines. Prior to this role, John served in the US Navy from June 2010 to June 2016 as a Nuclear Engineering Laboratory Technician, responsible for monitoring and maintaining reactor and steam plant water chemistry, and managing over 500 pieces of radioactive material annually without deficiencies. John's academic background includes an Associate of Science degree in Business from Ocean County College, obtained between 2016 and 2018, along with a high school education from Pinelands High School, completed in 2009.
