Logan Vine is a Principal Scientist specializing in Medicinal Chemistry at Cogent Biosciences since June 2022, having previously served as a Senior Scientist in the same field. Prior experience includes a role as an Organic Chemistry Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from August 2017 to May 2022, focusing on palladium-catalyzed cycloisomerizations, tandem coupling/cyclizations of allenes, and site-selective C-H amination via silver catalyzed nitrene transfer. Additionally, Logan Vine worked as a Teaching Assistant, imparting knowledge in introductory and organic chemistry courses, as well as NMR spectroscopy. Earlier research at Willamette University involved analyzing estrogen distributions in wastewater treatment using HPLC-MS/MS.
