Jack Maxey is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the mining and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Cogar Manufacturing, Inc. since January 2019, Maxey previously held various roles at Cargill from June 2014 to January 2019, including Production General Foreman and Underground Mine Production Supervisor, overseeing a drilling and blasting crew. Maxey's early career included significant engineering responsibilities as Mining Engineer at Cargill, managing projects related to mine design and planning, and two internships at Alpha Natural Resources, where valuable experience in coal mining, surveying, and permitting was gained. Maxey earned a Bachelor's degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2014.
