Steve Groenink possesses extensive experience in leadership and management within the fire protection, advertising, and financial services industries. As Team Lead/Branch Manager at Summit Fire Protection from April to August 2024, Groenink previously served as COO/Account Executive at Cofessco Fire Protection, now part of Summit Fire Protection, from July 2021 to April 2024. Groenink held the role of President at Fairly Painless Advertising from 2017 to 2020, and prior to that, served as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at Lambert from 2007 to 2017. In financial services, Groenink was Senior Vice President/Regional Director for Wealth Management at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2002 to 2007 and Trust Services Manager at Greenleaf Trust from 1999 to 2002. Groenink began a career in trust services at First of America/National City Bank, serving as Sr. VP/State Manager for Trust Services/Wealth Management from 1987 to 1999. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication/Management from Western Michigan University, completion of the ABA National Trust School, and experience as a college adjunct instructor.
