Borislava Koleva is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a Senior Legal Counsel at Coface since December 2022, focusing on finance, credit-insurance, guarantees, litigation, technology, cybersecurity, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, corporate, and regulatory matters. Previously, Borislava held the position of Associate in Banking & Finance at Stephenson Harwood LLP from January 2018 to November 2022, also participating as a Secondee at Natixis in September 2021. Earlier roles included Legal Counsel in Banking & Finance at Watson Farley & Williams, with a focus on project finance, asset finance, acquisition finance, and international commercial arbitration. Borislava began a legal career as a legal intern in structured finance at BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking. Academic qualifications include multiple degrees from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, culminating in a Bachelor's degree in International and European Law and the completion of the final Paris Bar Exam at the Paris Bar School.
