Faiza Hassan is an experienced public health professional currently serving as an Evaluator at Kaiser Permanente since April 2023. Additionally, Faiza works as a Public Health Consultant at HUE-MAN Partnership, where co-creation of interventions for opioid and Narcan use among Somali and African American communities is a primary focus. As a Research Assistant at Codman Square Health Center, Faiza develops protocols for grants aimed at examining anti-racism approaches to Opioid Use Disorder treatments. Prior roles include Program Evaluator at Professional Data Analysts and Graduate Research Assistant positions at Yale School of Public Health and the University of Minnesota Medical School. Faiza also has experience managing public health equity initiatives with the Minnesota Department of Health and serving as Section Editor for the Public Health Review journal. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management and Public Health from the University of Minnesota.
