Ashanthi Kiridena has been in the workforce since 1993. Ashanthi began their career as the Director at National Children's Center, where they were responsible for the largest Home and Community Based Waiver Supported Living Program in the District of Columbia. This included oversight of 95+ direct support, management and clinical staff, as well as enrollment and admissions for all agency programs in DC and Maryland. In 2006, they moved to St. John's Community Services as the Director of Education, Supported Employment and Day Services, where they were responsible for direct operational compliance and oversight of 4 non-public co-located school programs. In 2012, they began working at CODICE as the Human Resources Director and also became President at VCare, LLC.
Ashanthi Kiridena received their Master of Arts (M.A.) in Special Education and Teaching from American University between 1991 and 1992.
