Cody Gaspard is a Junior Engineer at CodeGreen Solutions. Cody has a passion for environmental work and has experience with both the public and private sector.
Cody began their career as an intern with the EPA's Air & Radiation Division in May of 2019. There, they were responsible for coordinating the renewal and update of State Implementation Plans (SIPs) using LEAN management principles. Cody also conducted public relations outreach, responding to citizens’ inquiries related to environmental quality concerns. In addition, Cody maintained data monitor network lists and updated the Federal Register docket for changes to air & radiation laws.
In October of 2020, Cody began working for Environmental Education Associates, Inc as a Federal Project Monitor. In this role, they performed over 200 lead-based paint inspections in New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) residences, enforced procedures and protocols established by the 2nd district of NY Court, and coordinated with NYCHA’s Lead Oversight Team regarding issues that impact both compliance and environmental health and safety. Cody also communicated with NYCHA residents for scheduling of abatement work and developed new standards of practice for data management and interdepartmental communication.
Outside of their full-time work, Cody has also been a researcher and co-author for The City College of New York - Independent Research since February of 2019.

In addition to their full-time work, Cody is also a researcher and co-author for The City College of New York - Independent Research.
Cody Gaspard has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from The City College of New York, and a Bachelor of Science in Music Business from Loyola University New Orleans. Cody also has certification from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as an EPA Lead Risk Assessor.
