Many on the team have worked as directors or coordinators at various organizations, including Girls Write Now, 826NYC/Brooklyn Superhero Supply Company, and The Urban Assembly Unison School at Citizen Schools. Others have experience as board members, consultants, and managing directors at companies such as Teach For America, Bottom Line, and Prospect Schools. The team also has a variety of educational backgrounds, from English and Creative Writing to Sociology and Women's Studies.
