Arin (she/her) is a Senior Software Engineer in the GetCalFresh team. She has always been passionate about using her skill set to serve others. After graduating from University of Texas at Austin, she started out her career as a forensic scientist at NYC OCME. She got curious about software engineering and attended Grace Hopper Program where she fell in love with the collaborative and iterative aspect of building software. Previously, she worked at Zearn, a nonprofit education organization, helping to develop an accessible and engaging math curriculum.
