Filipe Agapito has a diverse work experience spanning from 2004 to the present. Filipe'smost recent role is as a DevOps Engineer at Codacy, starting in October 2018. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Big Data and DevOps Engineer at Marionete. From 2012 to 2016, they served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Faculty of Sciences University of Lisbon, conducting research in Theoretical Chemistry and studying molecular energetics. During the same period, they also worked as a Professor Auxiliar Convidado. Before that, from 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Forschungsmitarbeiter at the University of Stuttgart, focusing on Theoretical Chemistry research, software development, and computational methodology. Filipe's work experience began in 2004 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Universidade de Lisboa.

Filipe Agapito's education history begins with their Licentiate degree in Chemistry, which they obtained from the Faculty of Sciences University of Lisbon. This degree was earned between 1999 and 2004. Filipe then pursued further education at the University of Lisbon, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physical Chemistry. This degree was obtained from 2005 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Filipe Agapito also holds certifications in the field. In January 2017, they obtained the Databricks Certified Spark Developer certification from Databricks. Filipe also received the Neo4j Certified Professional certification from Neo Technology, Creators of Neo4j, in the same month and year.
