David Marinho began their work experience as a Telecommunications retention line representative at PT Contact in 2011. David then moved on to Banco Santander Totta as an Accident insurance sales line representative in 2013. In 2016, David worked as a Software Developer specializing in COBOL/SQL at Psiengine for Allianz Brasil. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as Core and Services 1st line Support at Olisipo for Vodafone Portugal. In 2019, David worked as a Service Management Consultant at Isobar Switzerland for Philip Morris International. From 2020 to 2022, they served as an Oracle SOA Administrator - Digital & OSS Operations at Vodafone, where they monitored, administered, and developed solutions on Oracle SOA solution. Currently, David works as a Solutions Engineer at Codacy, conducting client discovery calls and meeting with clients to discuss their hardware and software needs.
David Marinho completed their education at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa from 2008 to 2025, where they obtained a Licentiate degree in Electronic, Telecommunications, and Computers Engineering with a specialization in Telecomunications, Electronic, and Computers Engineering.
In addition to their formal education, David Marinho also obtained several certifications. These include a Digital Collaborator Professional certification from Vodafone in March 2021, a Marketing Digital Certificate from Google in June 2019, and various certifications from Lynda.com, such as Advanced SQL for Query Tuning and Performance Optimization, Android Development Essential Training: Create Your First App, Android Studio Essential Training, Learning ITIL®, and SQL Essential Training, all obtained in May 2019.
Furthermore, David Marinho has certifications in HTML5, Introduction to Mobile App Development from Microsoft in June 2018, Introduction to Cloud Computing from Udemy in February 2018, and C# Fundamentals for Absolute Beginners from Microsoft in December 2015. David also holds an English B1/B2 certification from Wall Street English, obtained in May 2014.
