Arthur Peralta currently serves as a Lt. Colonel and Deputy Commander of the Criminal Investigations Division at Cobb County Sheriff's Office since August 2021. Prior to this role, Arthur Peralta held various positions at the ATF from July 2001 to July 2021, culminating in the role of Special Agent in Charge, and encompassing responsibilities as Assistant Special Agent in Charge. Earlier in Arthur Peralta's career, experience included serving as a Police Lieutenant, Sergeant, and Officer at the Santa Fe Police Department from February 1993 to July 2001, and as a Law Enforcement Specialist in the United States Air Force from August 1982 to September 1992. Arthur Peralta holds a Master’s degree in Security and Safety Leadership from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Wayland Baptist University.
