Drew Raessler, PE, currently serves as the Transportation Agency Director at Cobb County Government since June 2019, previously holding the position of Deputy Director in the same department. Prior to this role, Drew was the Director of Transportation and Public Works at Athens-Clarke County Unified Government from September 2016 to June 2019, where responsibilities included overseeing various divisions and acting as chief engineer. Drew's earlier experience at Cobb County Government includes roles such as Construction Engineer, where management of transportation project construction took place, and several engineering positions focused on signal design and traffic studies. Drew holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation and Highway Engineering from Kennesaw State University and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from The University of Georgia.
