Tanner Ehmke is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in agricultural markets, currently serving as Lead Economist for Grain & Oilseeds and previously for Dairy & Specialty Crops at CoBank since December 2015. Tanner has directed research initiatives and provided insights to various stakeholders through roles in the Knowledge Exchange division and has researched market trends as a Senior Economist for Grain & Farm Supply. Prior to CoBank, Tanner was a Partner at Valhalla Farms, managing a large dryland farming operation, and worked at Ehmke Seed, a family-owned seed company. Tanner's career also includes roles as a content manager, commodities analyst, and reporter, showcasing expertise in agricultural economics and market analysis. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Agribusiness and a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University, along with participation in leadership programs.
