Karen Connor has a diverse work experience in various industries. Karen started their career in 1990 as a Medical Receptionist at Bon Secours Health System, where they worked in various departments including the Emergency Room, Psychiatric Unit, and Hospital Admissions. In 1994, they transitioned into the education sector and worked as a Teacher at Chesapeake Public Schools until 1996. From 1996 onwards, Karen joined COATS as the VP of Business Development, where they played a crucial role in software installations and ensuring software efficiency for staffing agencies.

Karen Connor earned their Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Old Dominion University between 1990 and 1993. Karen then went on to pursue a Masters in Education from the same university between 1993 and 1994.
