Chad Leverette is the current Dean of the Gupta College of Science at Coastal Carolina University. Prior to this role, Chad served as the Dean of the College of Sciences and Engineering at the University of South Carolina Aiken. Chad also held positions such as Department Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Physics and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. Before their academic career, Chad worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Cargill, Incorporated. Chad obtained their education from The University of Georgia and Erskine College.
