Firdos Somji, ICD.D, MBA, FICB, currently serves as Audit Committee Chair for the Canada Border Services Agency and is also an Audit Committee Member. Additionally, Firdos holds the position of Board Director at Coast Capital Savings and is involved with Good News Ventures as a Limited Partner and member of the LP Advisory Council. Firdos has extensive experience as an Investor, Advisor, and Mentor with York Angel Investors, and previously worked at Scotiabank for over four decades, achieving significant leadership roles including Senior Vice President & Head of the Integration and Change Office and EVP & Head of Integration & Business Transformation. Firdos holds multiple degrees including an MBA from Dalhousie University and the ICD.D designation from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
