John Werner is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Region 6 Representative for the Coalition on Adult Basic Education and as President-Elect for the California Council for Adult Education since July 2023. Additionally, John holds the position of Director at the Stone Corral Irrigation District and has been the Executive Director of the Sequoias Adult Education Consortium since January 2016. Previous roles include Principal at Visalia Adult School from July 2015 to January 2016 and Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction from August 2009 to August 2015. John's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from CSU, Fresno, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from California State University, Chico, complemented by a Teaching Credential from Fresno Pacific University.
