Iain McLean is a legal professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as Legal Counsel at CNOOC International since November 2024, Iain has also held the position of Legal Counsel at Coretrax from May 2023 to November 2024. Prior roles include Legal Advisor and Contracts Analyst at the Net Zero Technology Centre from April 2018 to April 2023 and various analyst positions at ITF and Score Group plc. Iain's career began at Bibby Offshore as a Contracts Engineer and Graduate Contracts Engineer, followed by a role as a Legal Student at Nexen Inc. Iain holds a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from Robert Gordon University and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with Honours from the University of Aberdeen.
