Mikayla Bouchard is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in digital media and editorial management. Currently serving as the Managing Editor at CNN since December 2021, Mikayla oversees the Washington beats team within CNN Politics, focusing on key political coverage from the nation's capital. Previously, Mikayla held the position of Senior Editor at The New York Times from April 2015 to December 2021, where oversight of the Washington bureau's digital operations and coordination of multimedia coverage of significant news events were key responsibilities. Earlier roles include an internship at ABC News, contributing to political content, and positions at CNN and ITN Channel 4, which involved assisting prominent hosts and producing content in the field.
