Katie Hinman serves as the Vice President of Development at CNN, where responsibilities include leading the development and production of original series, managing multiple teams and budgets, and recruiting talent for shows. Since July 2021, Katie has overseen CNN FLASHDocs, delivering Emmy-nominated documentary content, and has led CNN Audio to profitability with successful programs like "Anderson Cooper’s All There Is." Prior roles at CNN include Executive Producer for Special Programming and the flagship Sunday morning political show, "State of the Union with Jake Tapper." Prior to CNN, Katie was a producer at ABC News, where award-winning coverage was produced on significant events such as the Arab Spring and the Sandy Hook shootings. Katie holds a BSJ in Broadcast Journalism from Ohio University and was a 2021 Sulzberger Fellow at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
