Jim Acosta is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in political reporting. Since March 2007, Acosta has served as an anchor and Chief Domestic Correspondent for CNN, including roles as Chief White House Correspondent, Senior White House Correspondent, and National Political Correspondent. Prior to joining CNN, Acosta worked as a correspondent for CBS News from February 2003 to February 2007 and at CBS Newspath from September 2001 to January 2003. Acosta also has reporting experience at WBBM-TV, KTVT-TV, and WBIR TV 10. Acosta earned a degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Political Science from James Madison University from 1989 to 1993.
