Scott Rigby is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in DevOps and open-source software development. Currently serving as an Ambassador and co-chair of the GitOps Working Group at the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), Scott has played a pivotal role in shaping project governance and co-developing GitOps Principles. Additionally, Scott is a maintainer of the OpenGitOps project, maintaining a strong commitment to community-driven initiatives. Throughout a diverse career, Scott has held significant positions such as Developer Experience at Weaveworks, Senior DevOps Engineer at Codecademy, and Principal Software Engineer at NBCUniversal. Scott is also recognized for foundational contributions to the Helm and Flux projects. An alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania, Scott’s professional journey reflects robust expertise in software engineering and community leadership in the DevOps landscape.
