Matt Ploch is an accomplished insurance professional with extensive experience in underwriting and marketing across various property and inland marine sectors. Currently serving as an Inland Marine Underwriter at CNA Insurance since April 2019, Matt is responsible for managing and expanding a profitable book of business in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Prior to this role, Matt held multiple senior positions, including Sr Vice President at Directfac and Aspen Re, focusing on property facultative and automatic underwriting in the Midwest. With a strong foundation in underwriting gained at reputable firms like Munich Re, Employers Reinsurance Corp, The Hartford, and Sentry Insurance, Matt has developed a comprehensive skill set in managing diverse insurance portfolios. Matt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a Math emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
