Steven Wills is a seasoned military historian and analyst with extensive experience in both research and military service. Currently serving as a Navalist for the Navy League of the United States and as a Research Analyst for CNA Corporation since March 2022, Steven previously held a Research Analyst position at the Center for Naval Analyses from June 2017 to March 2022. Steven's academic credentials include a PhD in Military History and a Master of Arts in Military History from Ohio University, where involvement spans from 2010 to the present. Additionally, Steven earned a Master of Arts in National Security Policy Studies from the U.S. Naval War College. Steven's military career includes over two decades as a Navy Officer, specializing as a surface warfare officer. Contributions to the field also include writing for CIMSEC: Center for International Maritime Security and engaging in military history research as a member of several professional organizations.
