Charles Cartier is a seasoned research scientist at CNA Corporation, where responsibilities include managing small to medium-sized projects and providing high-quality analysis for various components. Previous roles at CNA involved supporting the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, engaging directly with military personnel on concept-based experimentation, and contributing to the design and execution of wargames as part of the Gaming and Integration program. Before joining CNA, Charles was a graduate research assistant at Penn State University, focusing on colloidal-scale electrostatic motors, and an undergraduate research assistant at Case Western Reserve University, specializing in interfacial characterization techniques and collaborating on lithium-ion battery research. Charles holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, complemented by a minor in Mathematics and a concentration in Electrochemistry.
