Yusuf Karim is a Senior System Engineer at CMR Surgical, where employment commenced in August 2018 after serving as a Manufacturing Engineer and Graduate Manufacturing Engineer. Prior experience includes a summer placement at JCB, where diagnostic code analysis and process improvement were key responsibilities, as well as a role as an Associate Manufacturing Engineer at GE Oil & Gas, focusing on efficient injection moulding technology. Additionally, Yusuf worked as a part-time Student Ambassador at Loughborough University, providing prospective students with information about the engineering program. Early experience includes administrative tasks at Protegimus Security Ltd, work in engine control unit programming at Rolls Royce, and insights into CNC operations at Croft Engineering. Yusuf holds a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Loughborough University, completed in 2018, and attended Derby Grammar School from 2006 to 2013.
