Thimira Darshana Dunuwille is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in leading software development projects across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Lead Software Engineer at CME Group since January 2023, Thimira previously held similar positions at NantHealth from October 2015 to January 2023, contributing to the full software development life cycle and utilizing technologies such as Apache Camel and Kafka. Prior roles include Software Engineer at Intel Corporation, where contributions were made to the Payment and Settlement Engine Core development team, as well as experience at AePONA in various capacities, including Lead Software Engineer. Thimira began a career in software development during an internship at Aepona and gained research experience at the University of Colombo School of Computing, focusing on file sharing mechanisms in cloud environments. Thimira holds a BCS in Computer Science from the University of Colombo School of Computing.
