Kate Davenport-Slater has been working in the medical communications industry for almost two decades. Kate currently holds the position of SVP, Medical Operational Director at CMC Affinity | An IPG Health Company, where Kate has been since March 2016. Prior to that, Kate worked at Complete Medical Communications for over 13 years, starting as a Trainee Medical Editor and working their way up to Editorial Team Leader. Kate holds a PhD in Biomedical Materials Science from the University of Birmingham, which Kate obtained in 2002, following their BMedSc (Hons) in the same field in 1998.
