Curtis Ford serves as the Head of Grounds at Alleyn's School since January 2024, focusing on innovative ground maintenance aligned with the school's growth. Previously, Curtis has worked at Wembley Stadium as matchday grounds staff, handling pre-game preparations and post-game cleanup. Curtis has extensive experience in grounds management, including leadership roles as Head of Grounds at Duke Of Kent School, Preston Nomads Cricket Club, Saltdean United Football Club, and Brighton and Hove Cricket Club. Curtis's career began as an Apprentice Groundsperson at Sussex Cricket, progressing through various positions, including Assistant Groundsperson at King's College School Wimbledon and Deputy Head of Grounds at Brighton College. Educationally, Curtis holds an NVQ Level 3 in Sports Turf Maintenance and Management and a Level 2 Horticultural Apprenticeship from Plumpton College.
