David Borst is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in legal counsel and compliance roles. Currently serving as Head Legal & Compliance for CLSA since November 2020, David's previous positions include a self-employed role as an experienced senior legal counsel and General Counsel from October 2018 to November 2020. David worked at Deutsche Bank from September 1993 to September 2018, achieving the role of Director and Department General Counsel for the Netherlands. Additional experiences include serving as a board member for Vereniging Compliance Officers from April 2006 to April 2008 and holding legal counsel positions at Kraal & Struycken and the District Court of Amsterdam. Education includes studies at Grotius and the University of Amsterdam.
