Previously, at FIS, Bertsch held the position of Senior Finance Manager for Development Operations, managing a global finance team and a significant budget for banking software development. Earlier experience includes roles as Senior Manager of Corporate Finance at FIS, Assurance Manager and Staff Accountant at Ernst & Young, and Senior Financial Auditor at CliftonLarsonAllen, where Bertsch specialized in audits for various sectors.
