Koichi Takai is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in solutions engineering and systems engineering. Currently serving as the Director and Head of Solutions Engineering for Japan at Cloudflare since April 2023, Takai previously held the position of Head of Solutions Engineering for Japan at Twilio from March 2022 to March 2023. Takai's experience at VMware spans multiple director roles in the Digital Technology Unit, Solution Engineering, and Systems Engineering between July 2017 and March 2022. Prior to that, Takai served in various leadership roles at Brocade for over seven years and held senior engineering positions at Cisco Systems and NTT Telecom Engineering. Takai holds a degree from Kyushu Institute of Technology.
