Jason Richards is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy, growth operations, and hospitality management. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Growth Ops at Cloudbeds since August 2017, Jason has held various leadership roles within the company, including Vice President of Strategy and Director of Strategy and Corporate Development. Prior to joining Cloudbeds, Jason was the CEO of Vietnam Backpacker Hostels, a prominent youth travel company in Asia, from February 2014 to February 2017. Jason's earlier tenure includes the role of General Manager at Thirdplace Hospitality, a privately held company focused on delivering authentic hospitality experiences. Jason holds an Executive MBA from RMIT University and a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce from the University of Tasmania, complemented by a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment from TAFE Tasmania.
