Sam Starr has extensive work experience in finance and management roles. Sam began their career as an Assistant Manager at KPMG in 1999 and worked there until 2003. Sam then served as the Financial Controller at Baxi Heating UK Limited from 2003 to 2007. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as the Divisional Controller at Triplex Machining Components. Sam then joined Alliance Medical Limited as the Financial Controller from 2009 to 2012. Following this, they held the position of Senior Finance Manager at Wolseley from 2012 to 2015 and then became the Head of Commercial Finance at the same company from 2015 to 2016. Currently, Sam is working as the Finance Director at CloserStill Media, a position they have held since 2016.

Sam Starr attended Largs Academy from 1989 to 1995. They then went on to study at the University of Birmingham from 1995 to 1999, where they pursued a degree in Accounting and Finance with French.
