Diego Piacentini is an Italian-American business executive who is currently serving as an advisor at CLIPr. Diego has previously held positions at Exor Seeds, Apolitical, View Different, The Economist, KKR & Co. Inc., and Convoy Inc. From September 2016 to October 2018, they served as the Government Commissioner for the Digital Agenda for the Italian government. In this role, they founded the Government Digital Transformation Team and oversaw the digitization of key public administration processes. Diego has also represented the Italian government at various international meetings, including the G-20 and G-7 meetings, and signed the Tallin Digital Declaration on behalf of the Italian government.
Diego Piacentini received their bachelor's degree in economics from Università Bocconi. Diego went on to pursue a career in business, eventually becoming the CEO of Amazon Italy.
