Debu Purkayastha is an advisor at CLIPr and a former chairman of the Advisory Board at VEON. Debu has also been an entrepreneur-in-residence at Octopus Ventures, a senior industrial advisor at EQT Holdings/EQT Partners, and a member of the board of directors at Mercy Corps. Purkayastha has a long history of working in the tech industry, having previously worked at Unilever, the World Economic Forum, London Business School, TaDaweb, and the University of Cambridge.

Debu Purkayastha completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance & Strategy from the London Business School. Debu is also a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA), Company Secretary (ACS) and Cost and Work Accountant (AICWA). Debu completed their Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) - 1st Class in Finance from St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata.
