Matias Kleiner has diverse work experience in the field of technology and data engineering. Matias started their career as a Becario at Fundación Fulgor in 2018, where they studied and analyzed software-defined networking and management protocols. Matias also developed a driver and firmware applications for a device, showcasing their skills in C programming and web interface implementation.

In 2020, Matias joined Rappi as a Data Engineer. In this role, they played a vital part in setting up tooling, documentation, and data pipelines for the team. Matias worked closely with the Data Science and Data Analysis team, assisting them in adopting ML Engineering practices. Matias also focused on educating their colleagues on product and Data Engineering best practices.

Following their time at Rappi, Matias served as a Machine Learning Engineer at Addi in 2021. Matias'sresponsibilities included designing, implementing, and evolving the ML pipeline to improve ML predictions' availability and performance. Matias also deployed and monitored ML models daily using a CI/CD pipeline, ensuring automated retraining of models with alarms in case of failure.

In 2022, Matias continued their journey as a Data Engineer at etermax. Matias contributed to the design and implementation of the data pipeline and airflow eks environments. Matias also developed staging and production pipelines, showcasing their skills in data engineering and infrastructure.

Currently, Matias works as a Data Engineer at Clip, starting in 2023. More details about their current role and responsibilities are not available at this time.

Matias Kleiner completed their education at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba from 2013 to 2019, where they earned a degree in Ingeniería (Engineering) with a field of study in Ingeniería en Computación (Computer Engineering). In addition to their degree, Matias has obtained several certifications, including the Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0 from Databricks in December 2022, the dbt Fundamentals certification from dbt Labs in October 2022, the Astronomer Certification DAG Authoring for Apache Airflow from Astronomer in December 2021, and the Astronomer Certification for Apache Airflow Fundamentals from Astronomer in June 2021.
