Alfonso MartÃnez Spinoso has a range of work experience in various roles. Starting in 2017, they worked as a web development intern at Propulsar MX, where they created and maintained different websites. In 2018, they joined Alia Integrando Talento as a Business Intelligence Analyst, working on the DWM project for Costco México. Alfonso'sresponsibilities included testing the developed reports and analyzing and modeling information to measure productivity in different areas of retail.
In 2019, MartÃnez Spinoso moved on to Scotiabank, initially as a Fraud Specialist and later as an Especialista Métricas y AnalÃtica. In these roles, they led and mitigated transactional risk for debit and credit cards, electronic banking, and acquiring for the Central America portfolio. Alfonso designed commercial strategies for fraud mitigation using preventive models and statistical analysis, and implemented fraud prevention rules using the "Maker Checker" method.
Most recently, MartÃnez Spinoso joined Clip as a Fraud Prevention & Risk Specialist in 2022.
Alfonso Martinez Spinoso completed a Diploma in Statistical Techniques and Data Mining from Facultad de Estudios Superiores Acatlán in 2019. Prior to this, from 2014 to 2018, they pursued studies in Computational and Applied Mathematics at the same institution.
