Liam Loxton has a diverse work history spanning multiple industries and roles. Liam began their career in 2011 at Providence Health Care as a Lead Hand, where they managed a small team and maintained stock levels at St Pauls Hospital. In 2013, they joined The University of British Columbia as a Resident Advisor, where they built and maintained a community of students living in residence, addressing security issues and providing support during personal or academic crises.
In 2014, Liam started working at Think Fun Camps as an Associate Director, responsible for developing curriculum and enhancing critical thinking skills in children. Liam also oversaw a group of children and volunteers during activities.
In 2016, Liam joined Eventbase as an Application Support Analyst, later becoming the Application Support Lead in 2018. In these roles, they provided support for applications and systems, ensuring smooth operations and resolving technical issues. Liam transitioned to the role of Operations Analyst in 2019, focusing on optimizing operational processes.
Most recently, Liam is employed at Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology. Liam started as a Data Migration Specialist in June 2020 before being promoted to Team Lead, Migrations and Data Processing in October 2020. In these roles, they are involved in migrating and processing data in a cloud-based legal technology platform.
Liam Loxton has a Bachelor's Degree in Cognitive Systems from The University of British Columbia, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's Degree in Applied Ethics from Capilano University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Liam holds certifications in Saint John's Ambulance First Aid from Saint John's Ambulance Service, as well as Sumo Logic Fundamentals & Search Mastery from Sumo Logic.
