Lauren Ortgiesen is a seasoned school psychologist with extensive experience in counseling, assessment, and consulting, currently serving at Clinton Public Schools since August 2014. Prior experience includes a school psychology internship at Burrillville School District, where 1200 hours were completed in diverse educational settings, and a role as a psychometrist at Learning for Life, administering comprehensive learning assessments to undergraduate students. Further training included a practicum at Woonsocket High School, focusing on ecological models within culturally diverse populations. Lauren holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in School Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, both from Rhode Island College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Women Studies from the University of Rhode Island.
