Matt Gunderman possesses extensive experience in healthcare administration and clinical operations. Currently serving as Assistant Administrator for Clinical Operations at Clinton Memorial Hospital since July 2019, Matt collaborates with hospital executives, providing oversight in clinical operations. Prior roles include Senior Director of Emergency, Interventional Cardiac, and Radiologic Services, as well as Director of Emergency and Cardiac Services. Matt has also engaged in a professional sabbatical in early 2019, aiming to expand knowledge and experience in different healthcare environments. Previous leadership positions at UC Health involved directing multiple service lines, including medical transport systems. Initial healthcare experience began as a clinical manager and flight nurse, complemented by a foundation in nursing education. Matt's educational background includes a Master of Science in Nursing and Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist certification from the University of Cincinnati, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an extensive nursing background, including paramedic training.
