Michelle Wood is an experienced professional in the field of biomedical sciences, currently serving as a Clinical PreSales Consultant at Clinisys since August 2022. Prior to this role, Michelle worked as a Blood Bank Manager at St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust from February 2017 to August 2022. Additional experience includes positions as a Senior Biomedical Scientist in Blood Transfusion at Alder Hey Children's Hospital and as a Senior Biomedical Scientist followed by a Biomedical Scientist at Central Manchester & Manchester Children's Foundation Trust. Michelle began the career as a Trainee Biomedical Scientist and later as a Biomedical Scientist at Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh NHS Foundation Trust from August 2004 to April 2007. Michelle holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Central Lancashire, obtained between 2007 and 2009, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in the same field from the same university, completed from 2001 to 2004.
