Matthias Hüser is a Senior Data Scientist at TriNetX since August 2022, following a tenure with Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) in the AI4 Life Program from August 2021 to August 2022. Prior to this, Matthias was a PhD student at ETH Zürich in the Biomedical Informatics Group from May 2015 to July 2021, and also served as a Research Assistant in the Mobile Health Systems Lab. Earlier positions include a Software Engineer Internship at Amadeus and an Undergraduate Research Opportunities placement at Imperial College London, where initial research was conducted on compiler backends. Matthias has presented at various summer schools organized by the German National Academic Foundation, focusing on Randomized Algorithms and Applied Cryptography. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Sciences from ETH Zürich, a Master of Science in Computer Science from ETH Zurich, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computing from Imperial College London, complemented by a German Abitur from the German School Tokyo Yokohama.
