Emily Pawsat, SHRM-CP

Director, Radar Partnerships at Climavision

Emily Pawsat, SHRM-CP has worked in a variety of roles in the Human Resources field since 2010. Emily began their career as a part-time Photographer Assistant for their uncle's business, Pawsat Pro Photo. In 2015, they became a Marketing/PR Co-op and HR Co-op for Messer Construction Co. During their two-year co-op, Emily was responsible for dispositioning candidates, conducting phone interviews, scheduling interviews, fielding requests from the company's careers email, document creation, posting jobs, and registering and handling logistics for career fairs.

In 2018, Emily began working at Genscape, Inc. as a Human Resources Generalist. Here, they were responsible for benefits administration, onboarding, and HRIS. Emily also helped the company transition from ADP to a global Workday system. Emily also held the role of Human Resources Coordinator at Genscape, Inc., where they owned the onboarding process from cradle to grave.

In 2020, Emily began working at Verisk as a People Services Specialist, and at PharmaCord as a Human Resources Consultant and Senior HR Generalist. Currently, Emily is a Partnership & Program Manager (+ HR Consultant) at Climavision, where they are responsible for initiating, building, and installing the company's proprietary weather radar network. Additionally, they provide guidance on HR infrastructure, HRIS systems, HR policies, recruiting, etc.

Emily Pawsat holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Louisville, which they obtained in 2018. Prior to that, they attended Beechwood High School from 2010 to 2014. In December 2018, Emily became a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
