Asif Hasan is a co-founder of Climative, a clean tech company that utilizes AI-assisted digital energy assessments and blockchain technology to accelerate the decarbonization of the built environment. Asif is also a board member of the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Board of Trustees for the New Brunswick Public Libraries Foundation. Asif co-founded the International Students' Association New Brunswick (ISA-NB), which provides support and assistance to international students in the Fredericton area. Asif is also an advisor for the Local Immigration Partnership of Fredericton (LIPF), actively working on strategic priorities for immigrant integration and settlement. Asif serves as a director on the board of Dialogue NB, an organization dedicated to promoting social cohesion in the community. Asif has previous experience as the CEO and co-founder of SimpTek Technologies. Additionally, Asif played a role in developing the Fredericton Five-Year Immigration Strategy as the Co-Chairman for Ignite Fredericton. Asif has also held positions in the IEEE Student Branch at the University of New Brunswick, including Vice President and Teaching Assistant.
Asif Hasan completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of New Brunswick. Asif attended this institution from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2012, they pursued a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the American International University-Bangladesh. In addition to their formal education, Asif Hasan also obtained the certification of being Dare to Lead Trained from Dare to Leadā¢ Trained in May 2020.
