Elvin Chua has a diverse range of work experience. Elvin started their professional journey as a Sales and Marketing Intern at Giamso International Tours Pte Ltd in 2016. Elvin then worked as a Guest Relations Officer at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. from February to May 2017. In July 2017, they joined the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) as an NSF - Bionix II Operator, a role they held until May 2019.

Elvin then transitioned to the private sector and worked as an Event & Project Executive at The Nex Carnival from June 2019 to March 2020. In 2020, they interned as a Finance Governance Summer Intern at Prudential Assurance Company Singapore from May to July. The following year, they interned at SGX as a CFO Unit Intern (Workplace Services) from July to December 2021.

In 2022, Elvin worked as an Associate Consultant at 180 Degrees Consulting Nanyang Technological University from August to November. Currently, they are positioned as a Junior Operations Analyst at Climate Impact X, starting from January 2023.

Elvin Chua has a diverse education history that spans from high school to university. Elvin obtained a High School Diploma in Tourism and Resort Management from Singapore Polytechnic, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. During their time at Singapore Polytechnic, Elvin also received additional certifications including a Certificate of Attainment in Co-Curricular Activities - Gold with Honours and a Certificate of Commendation for Academic Excellence - Director's Honour Roll.

In 2019, Elvin enrolled at Nanyang Technological University Singapore and pursued a Bachelor's Degree (Hons) in Business with a specialization in Banking & Finance. Elvin completed their degree in 2022. In addition to their formal education, Elvin also obtained various certifications and letters of appointment. For instance, they achieved the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT N5) certification from The Japan Foundation in August 2019. Furthermore, they received a Certificate of Academic Achievement from the Ministry of Education, Singapore (MOE) in 2013.

Elvin has demonstrated a strong involvement in co-curricular activities and leadership positions throughout their education. In 2015, they were appointed as the Creative Head at Singapore Polytechnic, and in 2012, they served as the President of the Info-Communications Club at Hua Yi Secondary School. These extracurricular roles showcase Elvin's dedication and well-roundedness in their educational journey.
