Johann Uys is an experienced technical manager with a diverse background in software development and firmware engineering. Currently employed at Clickatell since December 2009, Johann has held several roles, including technical manager, scrum product owner, and developer. Prior experience includes positions as a firmware developer at Psitek and firmware team lead at Astrata Systems, where coordination of a five-member development team was key. Johann began a career as a firmware engineer at Nicon Systems from 1999 to 2004. Educational qualifications include an MSc. Eng in Satellite Power System from Stellenbosch University, an advanced diploma in Organisational Leadership from Towerstone, and certification as a Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance. Prominent academic achievement includes a National Senior Certificate with an A average in mathematics, science, and biology from Paul Roos Gymnasium.
