Cory Korkow is a seasoned art professional with extensive experience in European art, particularly from 1500-1800. Since 2008, Korkow has served at the Cleveland Museum of Art as Curator of European Paintings and Sculpture, formerly holding the positions of Associate Curator and Post-Doctoral Curatorial Fellow. In addition, Korkow has been an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Art History and Art at Case Western Reserve University since 2015, teaching courses such as European Historicism in the Long Nineteenth Century. Prior roles include positions as Research Assistant and Digital Imagist at the Dante Gabriel Rossetti Archive and Seminar Instructor at the University of Virginia, where Korkow taught various art history courses. Educationally, Korkow earned a PhD in History of Art from the University of Virginia and a BA in History of Art from the University of Chicago, complemented by studies at the Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
